Nintendo's popular dual-screen handheld game device with an internet browser will be launched in the US market on June 4, the game and console-maker said.

The popular dual-screen Nintendo DS Browser, which features a web browser made by Norway-based Opera Software ASA, was released in Europe October 6.

Nintendo has not yet released a suggested retail price for the portable game player.

Japanese company Nintendo began manufacturing its Nintendo DS devices in November 2004.

Nintendo DS combines dual screens with touchscreen, voice recognition and wireless communications capabilities.
